A post-graduate in commerce and a honorary from Kellogs USA, Mr. G.R.K. Reddy began his career in 1985 in the merchant banking industry where he gained rich experience in advising and structuring financial closures. Later in 1994, he moved to the

construction industry and promoted the MARG Group. He envisaged that " Space Creation " will be a critical factor to dirve the Indian economy.

He was a planning member in the board of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA). A Post graduate in Regional Planning from IIT Kharagpur, he has more than 30 years experience in the field of urban planning in Chennai Metropolitan Area. He was one of the team leaders in implementing the World Bank projects under MUDP-I, II and TNUDP-I of CMDA. He has strong and proven expertise in Urban Planning and Urban Management. Slum improvement, Site and Services, Transportation planning were some of the major projects he handled under the World Bank funded projects. Furthermore, he was one of the lead members in planning and implementing of new towns at Maraimalai Nagar, Manali. He was instrumental in executing major projects like truck terminal, market complex and flyovers in Chennai.
